Founded by Mr. Oh Choo Huat in 1989, the company manages and provides freighting service for tugs and barges in South East Asia and the Middle East. The company also engages in commodities trading.

Founded in 1989. It became a private limited company in 1992. The organisation’s activities include:

• Coal
• Gypsum
• Aggregates
• Reclamation sand
• Cement Clinker
• Scrap Steel
• Iron Sand ; and
• Sulphur

The company has been actively trading and providing it’s freighting services in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Over the years, the company has enjoyed an excellent track record with its clients. We have proven ourselves in our ability to perform our shipments within given schedules and have always been upright to our clients. With our clients’ support, the company has expanded on its operations and business.

Incorporated in 1995 to co-own our first tug and barge. It served as an add-on to the fleet of vessels we were managing and further enhanced our service reliability. The company has since expanded on its own fleet of tugs and barges.

In an effort to better serve our customers, the group was restructured in 2008 with Topniche Marine Pte Ltd taking over the core functions of commodities trading, tug and barge management as well as ship owning.

Established in the People’s Republic of China in 2006 as a wholly owned foreign enterprise of Topniche Associates Pte Ltd. The company is in the business of shipbuilding. The land on which the shipyard sits was purchased and the shipyard license was obtained from the Provincial Authorities in 2007.

Mr. Oh Choo Huat is the founder and Executive Chairman of the company. Prior to the founding of the company, he served in management position in various multi-national companies.The experience he acquired then has proven invaluable in the propulsion of the company to where we are today.

Mr. Oh Wee Lee is the Managing Director of the company. The experience he gained from the marine industry since the inception of the company in 1989 has no doubt been vital in the company’s expansion.

The management also consists of a team of dedicated personnel whose collective effort must not go unrecognized in its success story.
